Housing Security and Emergency Shelter
Connecting Economic Security with Housing Security
Safe and affordable housing is a cornerstone of economic security. Economic abuse can contribute to housing instability, homelessness, debt, and barriers to securing safe accommodation. CCFWE works to strengthen housing policies and systems that support the safety, stability, and long-term economic security of people experiencing economic abuse.
Key Priorities
- Housing affordability and access
- Emergency shelter responses
- Housing retention and eviction prevention
- Legislative responses to protect renters
Our Work
We push for housing policies and service systems that recognize the economic realities facing people experiencing economic abuse and support long-term housing security.
