Amanda Kalima

Research Analyst

Amanda Kalima is an Honours Bachelor of Commerce graduate in Management (CO-OP) from the University of Ottawa. Originally from Rwanda, she has spent nearly eight years in Canada, gaining experience in government and public service roles, including at Global Affairs Canada, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, the University of Ottawa, and the City of Ottawa.

Her past work experience includes analyzing employment barriers for refugees and newcomers, benchmarking successful integration programs, and developing policy recommendations to improve workforce access, with a strong focus on economic integration, employment policy, and strategic communications.
Passionate about economic justice, she is excited to contribute to CCFWE’s mission of supporting women affected by economic abuse and advocating for systemic change.
