We work in partnership to ensure women have access to and control over their own economic resources. We focus on four strategic priorities: public education and awareness-raising; mental health and wellness; ensuring systems do not inadvertently facilitate economic abuse; and influencing policy. Our aim now is to ensure that Canadian private and public sector policies and practices recognize economic abuse, so that victim-survivors are supported to achieve economic justice, and abusers are held accountable for their behaviours.
We’re seeking a Policy Advisor to support our national policy, advocacy, and systems-change work on economic abuse and women’s economic empowerment across Canada. This role is ideal for a skilled policy professional who can monitor government developments, analyze legislation, and produce high-quality briefing materials that strengthen CCFWE’s impact. The position is a remote contract (28 hrs/week) running June 15, 2026 to March 31, 2027, at $38/hour. Please send your CV and cover letter to [email protected] by June 10, 2026.
