Financial Empowerment

SHIELD to Thrive

A financial resilience program empowering survivors

A financial resilience program empowering survivors. Rebuilding life after economic abuse, financial exploitation, control, and coerced debt is more than learning to manage money. This program is designed to help survivors restore their identity, reclaim their independence, and build the power to thrive.

Who this is for

Are you a visible minority, immigrant, Black, or Indigenous survivor who has experienced domestic economic abuse, financial abuse, or coerced debt?

You are not alone. You deserve support that meets you where you are.

What the program addresses

Our program addresses the unique financial harms caused by coercive control, identity theft, employment sabotage, and other forms of financial manipulation. It is guided by the CCFWE SHIELD Model, a proven approach created to help survivors build real and lasting financial independence.

What you gain

More than skills, this program offers survivors a pathway to healing, security, and lasting financial freedom. It is about restoring confidence, reclaiming independence, and building the resilience to thrive.

Ready to rebuild your financial freedom?

If you have experienced economic abuse, SHIELD to Thrive was created to help you rebuild with confidence and strength.
